Posting Guidelines
It seems like Automod linked you to this page when you made your post. Here are some suggestions when you reply to its comment.
Requesting Mods
- Asking a couple questions before modding.
- Tell the potential mods looking at your post what your subreddit is about.
- Ask if the user they can help seed content as a mod
Modding any SFW or NSFW subreddit
- Tell the subreddit owners/mods about your experience. Are you just starting? Have you modded some subreddits before?
Suggesting an available subreddit that is banned or "abandoned".
- Make sure based on the r/redditrequest sidebar that the subreddit is available.
- Reply some information about the subreddit if needed.
- Be neutral and don't call anyone out.
- Don't break any of r/redditrequest's rules.
- Reply Automod and give info to potentially interested users that are interested and tell them what this subreddit needs.
